For the past 20 years this Beaver Colony has run providing young Beavers the chance to enjoy themselves by enjoying a variety of activities including singing, acting, making things, learning about local nature, local knowledge, home safety and road safety. For most of this time the section has been run by Prue Llewellyn and Lin Wheeler, whom retired at the end of the summer term 2006. Lisa Sedgley and Mandy Dyer have since taken over from the group.

The Colony has invested its first girl in to the group. – Angali Sachedev in Feb 2006. Since this we have had another girl invested – Rita Freely and are looking forward to the numbers of girls in our colony growing.
For the Queens 80th Birthday our Beaver Colony made a card and sent it to the Queen. The card featured on the front page of all the national newspapers in the Queen’s hand was the card that our Beaver colony made.
